Nate's baptism

I am thrilled to share with our friends and family the pictures, and soon to follow video, of Nate's baptism today!! Jonathan and I joined Covenant Presbyterian Church and today, almost all of our family came in to witness and then celebrate Nate's event. We are so excited about this church: it has been such an answer to prayer!! Jonathan and I have marveled at the way the Lord provided exactly what we have been looking for over the last few years and had been unable to find. I am so glad we didn't settle!! (Kind of reminds me of the search for a spouse, huh?)
Lolly, Pop, 15-weeks-along-pregnant Beth, and Jackson came from Newnan; Granny came from Arkansas; Gaga and Jan came from Monroe; Nancy, Mary, Jake, and Molly came from Shreveport; and Rick surprised us by coming just for one night from Dallas!! Jonathan and I felt so blessed and loved to have so many members of the family with us today. We all headed back to our house afterward for my first attempt at feeding the multitude :) I think it went well, if I do say so myself ;) I know some of the pictures are not that clear in the church, and I cannot BELIEVE that I did not get one good picture of Nate in his cute little outfit!! It has his monogram on it, even though you can't see the "C" in the picture shown. Regardless, the day could not have gone better. Did I mention how well my son behaved?! I was so proud. He even smiled at the right moments and looked at our pastor almost the entire time. You will be able to see it when I am able to post the video.
Thanks so much to our family for coming from the ends of the earth, we love you so much and can't wait to see you again!!

Jennifer, Jonathan and Nate, God Bless your family. What a wonderful event. Nate you are such a handsome, smiling child. What a gift to be able to find a church that you feel enveloped. HUGS, Aunt Debbie-Richard
